ResetRoom analyzes room and workspace photos on your iPhone. No photo is uploaded. This policy describes the limited information used to provide coaching, subscriptions, support, and product analytics.
Photos and visual analysis
Camera and library photos, thumbnails, object bounding boxes, and before-and-after comparisons are processed and stored locally inside the ResetRoom app. They are never uploaded to ResetRoom servers or an AI text provider.
Optional AI coaching
If you explicitly enable AI coaching, the app may send a structured coaching request to the ResetRoom API. That request contains a pseudonymous installation identifier, locale, Reset Score, estimated time, aggregate object counts, predefined issue identifiers, rule/model versions, and up to three generated task titles. Before contacting the optional AI text provider, ResetRoom removes the installation identifier, locale, and task titles, and sends only aggregate object counts, score, task identifiers, rule version, and model version. ResetRoom does not send photos, bounding boxes, precise location, contacts, or your name. You can disable AI coaching at any time and continue using local coaching messages.
Analytics
Optional product analytics contain one of these exact event names:
app_opened, onboarding_completed, scan_started, image_quality_failed, detection_completed, confirmation_adjusted, plan_viewed, cleanup_started, task_completed, session_completed, before_after_completed, paywall_viewed, purchase_started, purchase_completed, purchase_failed, detection_config_invalid, model_load_failed, analysis_slow, stage_timeout.
Each analytics request contains exactly the fields installationId, event, timestamp, properties. Properties are restricted to aggregate ranges, counts, durations, versions, reason codes, product identifiers, device model, and pipeline stage. Analytics do not contain photos, task text, object labels, or bounding boxes and can be disabled in Settings.
Coaching request fields
When optional AI coaching is enabled, its request contains exactly these top-level fields: installationId, locale, roomType, roomScore, estimatedMinutes, ruleVersion, modelVersion, detectedObjects, issues, tasks. Each task contains exactly identifier, title, priority, estimatedMinutes.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. ResetRoom receives entitlement status but does not receive your payment-card details.
Retention and deletion
Scan records and thumbnails remain in protected local app storage until you delete an individual session, choose ResetRoom → Settings → Delete all local data, or remove the app. The free tier shows a seven-day visible local history window in the app UI; Premium shows the full local history and multiple workspace profiles. Operational server logs avoid raw installation identifiers and are retained only as needed for security and reliability.
Tracking and advertising
ResetRoom does not sell personal data, show behavioral advertising, or track activity across other companies' apps and websites.
